Tourism
Long live diversity!
Since back in the late 90’s, LGBTQ+ Tourism was already present at ITB Berlin, but established as an official, equal segment under ITB’s CSR commitment, in 2010.
Over the years, it became the biggest LGBTQ+ Tourism presence in any global tourism trade show and is one of the most diverse areas of the trade show, today.
Each year, ITB Berlin, in cooperation with its partner agency Diversity Tourism GmbH, is hosting the well-established LGBTQ+ Tourism Pavilion with its exhibitors, educational programs and networking events for all trade visitors and media.
In the ITB Convention, there is a panel discussion dedicated to LGBTQ+ tourism, every year. Established in 2018, the ITB LGBTQ+ Pioneer and Destination Awards ceremony takes place during the ITB Diversity Gala supporting the IGLTA Foundation, on ITB Thursday.
