Why ITB Americas?

Map of Americas

ITB Americas is the first and only travel trade show for North, Central and South America as well as the Caribbean.

The Americas represent one of the largest and fastest growing tourism markets in the world, serving as a powerhouse in global travel. With immense economic potential in the tourism sector, the region is an ideal location for hosting a premier travel trade show like ITB Americas.

ITB Americas brings the event close to the market, reducing barriers and thriving participation. Hosting the event closer to participants in the Americas also reduces the need for long-haul travel, aligning with sustainability goals and reducing the carbon footprint of attendees.

Addressing a demand in the global tourism industry, ITB Americas aims to establish a comprehensive trade show of the Americas that represents the rich diversity of North, Central, and South America, as well as the Caribbean. Unlike existing trade shows, this event will provide a unified platform to showcase the unique cultures, destinations, and opportunities across the entire Americas, fostering greater connectivity and collaboration within the region and beyond.

It's high time for ITB Americas!

At last, an overarching tourism trade show will present a wide range of offers from all countries in the Americas on a platform that has never been seen before. The fact that this will take place in Mexico’s Guadalajara makes us at ARGE Lateinamerika and me particularly happy: the perfect placement between North and South America. Bonus: in addition to Latin American destinations, many of our members also offer tourism products in Canada, the USA and the Caribbean.

On behalf of all our ARGE members on both sides of the Atlantic, I wish ITB Americas the greatest possible success. I am looking forward to it.
