Frequently asked questions

Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about participating as an exhibitor, including topics such as registration, stand construction, and exhibition times. If you do not find the answers to your questions, you can contact the ITB Berlin team directly at itb@messe-berlin.de.

Our official Host Country Albania will ceremoniously open the ITB Berlin 2025 on Monday, 3 March.

You will find the online stand registration in our Exhibitor Portal.

In order to participate as exhibitor we kindly ask you to send us a stand registration with your desired booth shape and space, your products, contact details etc. Our team will check the availability and – starting in September – gradually send out placement offers. Once you confirm an offer, the binding contract is concluded and we look forward to welcoming you as exhibitor at ITB Berlin.

You can view your registration data at any time in your user account on the portal.

The official registration deadline for ITB Berlin 2025 expires on 1 September 2024.

You can register and manage your co-exhibitor(s) listings in your profile in the Exhibitor Portal after sending your stand application. The registration deadline for co-exhibitors will be announced soon.

With the Communication Package, Messe Berlin GmbH offers exhibitors a selection of marketing tools designed to optimize trade show participation and promote market presence. This includes, among other things, the presence in the ITB exhibitor directories (Website + App).

Therefore, an obligatory fee of EUR 114.00 per main and per co-exhibitor will be charged and invoiced to the main exhibitor. From 50 co-exhibitors onwards, a cost airbag applies, with a limitation in the amount of EUR 5,800.00.

Filling in the ITB stand registration form is seen as a declaration of intent for the time being.

In autumn, we will start sending all exhibitors an official stand proposal with the exact location of the stand in the hall and the stand size. After the written confirmation of this placement offer, you enter a contract with us. From this point on, a cancellation fee may apply if you are unable to participate.

Cancellation fees will be 50% of the stand rental fee, provided your cancellation or reduction of stand space reaches latest by 31 December 2024. 100% of the stand rental fee will be due as a cancellation fee for cancellations or reductions of stand space as from 1 January 2025. System stand packages can be booked via the BECO web shop.

In addition to ready-made wall elements, system stand packages include various equipment options and services. Ordering a system stand does NOT include stand rental. To enable us to accept a system stand order from you, we require your stand registration in advance via the exhibitor portal.

There are separate package offers for stand registrations in special segments of ITB Berlin, which can be selected directly in the stand registration process.

Placement proposals will be made available on the exhibitor portal as from September. The allocation of stand space will be done successively and depends on the availability of stand space. You will receive an email to provide the placement proposal from itb@messe-berlin.de. You can check our placement proposal in the exhibitor portal within one week and give us your feedback.

After receipt of confirmation of the stand space proposal, down payment invoices will be sent by email via the following email address as from mid of November at the earliest: messe-berlin@quadient-eservices.com. The date of invoicing will be determined by the billing year as specified during the online registration. Your confirmation of order will be available in the exhibitor portal from this point on.

The down payment invoice includes the costs for the stand rental, communication package and AUMA fee.

After the event, around May 2025, you will receive your final invoice. This invoice will contain all additional services that you ordered in advance in our webshop or on-site in the Exhibitor Service.

All services relating to your trade fair presence can be ordered in our BECO web shop.

The space rental package includes the following services:

  • Raw space
  • Exhibitor passes (up to 20 m² of rental space 3 passes and for every additional 10 m² 1 additional pass)
  • Communication Package 114 EUR per main or co-exhibitor
  • AUMA fee 0.60 EUR/ m²

All prices exclude statutory VAT.

Currently exhibitors are increasingly receiving offers from various providers via e-mail to purchase trade visitors’ subscribing lists – including extensive data. We would like to point out that Messe Berlin is not connected in any way to these companies or provides such lists. The transfer of personal data is not permitted and can be prosecuted.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the ITB Berlin team or the international representative in your country.

We wish to make clear that Messe Berlin is not connected in any way whatsoever to the publishers of the Expo Guide, International Fairs Directory, EVENT FAIR or Fair Guide.
