NextGen Tourism Solutions Lab
Are you full of ideas? Do you want to help shape the tourism industry?
The pitch competition at ITB Berlin 2025 was the stage for future talents in the tourism industry! Young professionals in the travel industrystudents, trainees, and young career starterstook the opportunity to develop creative solutions for current challenges in tourism - all in an exciting, diverse team with the support of industry professionals.
Participation was worth it!
- 1. Network: Make contacts with other young professionals and industry representatives.
- 2. Unique teamwork: Be creative and develop solutions that could shape the travel industry of tomorrow.
- 3. Learning through practice: Work under realistic time pressure and train important skills such as problem solving, presentation and time management.
How does the competition work?
1. Diversity meets team spirit
The groups were put together in advance by drawing lots to create an inspiring working environment.
2. Time to get creative
At the start of the competition, each group was given an exciting challenge from the travel industry.
The aim: to develop an innovative solution that inspires.
3. Teamwork for Success
The teams worked on solutions , created a convincing pitch deck and prepared a presentation, receiving support from experienced mentors from the industry who were on hand to advise.
4. Pitch your Vision!
Ideas were presented in a short pitch of 5-10 minutes in front of the jury and the audience!
The best idea was awarded by the jury.
