Your Options On Site

Here is how you maximize your media output during ITB Berlin 2025

Book a press conference

ITB Berlin 2025 provides four options for those who want a dedicated media event:

  • A press conference, an appointment at CityCube Berlin or hub27, including technical equipment and the option of live streaming and technical staff. The CityCube Berlin and hub27 are easy to reach from the Messe Süd S-Bahn station. For further information please click here: Room booking for press conferences and workshops. The ITB Berlin team is available for your enquiry at the following e-mail address: itb-roombooking@messe-berlin.de. Please include all known event details in your enquiry.
  • A press conference in the Presentation Hub in Hall 5.3 includes basic technical equipment and staff, our own camera and direction services as well as live streaming (including integration on a channel of your choice). The Presentation Hub is located right next to the Media Centre (Hall 6.3), so your event is right in the hotspot. If you are interested, please contact Udo Friedrich, udo.friedrich@messe-berlin.de.
  • A press conference/media get-together at your stand is a cost-effective alternative and helps media professionals to immerse themselves in your topic. Further information can be found here: Exhibitor events.

Remember that you are competing with thousands of other exhibitors - so make sure your press conference has something special and newsworthy on the program.

Come Prepared

Communication begins at home. The ITB Berlin Media Team will be happy to support you leading up to and during the trade show – but going through this checklist will help you maximize your impact.

  • Appoint a PR contact for journalists. Make it easier for the media to access your company by ensuring you have a single point of contact. Name a PR contact when setting up your company profile. This person should ideally also select "PR contact" as their job title when registering for ITB Berlin 2025.
  • Share your news with us. Whether product innovations, exciting news or special stand concepts - we will ensure that your news reaches a wide range of media contacts. Submit your news free of charge using this registration form.
Please note that publication cannot be guaranteed.
  • Identify your unique selling point. It is helpful to think in advance about the unique messages you want to convey. Identify what makes you different and build your communication around that.
  • Know Your Audience. Having something to say is great – make sure that you’re talking to those who are willing to listen. Identify media segments that are key to you and tailor your comms accordingly.
  • Reach Out Directly. The best way to win hearts is eye-level dialog. Build up a base of direct personal contacts in your key media and make sure you know precisely what their interests are. The most prominent Travel Trade media have editorial offices at the ITB Press centre in the Hall 6.3. Feel free to drop by!
  • Be Quick. With hundreds of exhibitors and delegations to cover, no journalist will wait for three days for comment. Make sure to have enough manpower for on-site media work.
